The Jordanian Royal Geographical Center participated in a new horizons in education, training and vocational training in Jordan organized by the Jordanian Club for Holders of the German Humboldt Grant in cooperation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty on Thursday 4/4/2019 under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Education And Education Professor Dr. Walid Maani, at the Haya Cultural Center. The aim of this participation is to promote the disciplines taught by the University College of Geoscience and Geospatial Sciences as well as the training courses offered by the Geographical Center, in addition to directing students and parents to choose the technical and technical specialties needed by the local and Arab markets. In the discussion session, Eng. Khawla Klob presented the tasks and duties of the Center and the major disciplines taught by the College in granting the two-year diploma in the fields of surveying, GIS and remote sensing, admission and registration requirements, These specialties. The session witnessed a wide debate from the audience. Many questions were raised about scientific and training programs. Which are offered by the College and the Geographical Center. On the sidelines of this conference, the Geographical Center participated in an exhibition which attracted the attention of a large number of students, parents and interested people. The distribution of the educational bulletins about the college and the training courses was given to them and answered their questions and inquiries. The event was attended by the President of Balqa Applied University, the Director General of the Vocational Training Corporation, the Director General of the Amman Chamber of Industry, the Director of the Directorate of the Scientific Research Support and Innovation Fund, the deans of the Engineering and Technical Colleges, the educational managers and academics.
